This Privacy Policy explains how Crowbly LLC, doing business as Disteller, collects and uses information when you visit disteller.com, join the waitlist, request a project, or use our review and delivery tools. When you engage Disteller as a client, you may decide what footage, briefs, and other project materials we receive; we process those materials to provide the services you request.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, email address, company details, project briefs, messages, uploaded footage, reference files, review notes, approved deliverables, and other material you choose to share with us. We also receive basic usage, device, and security information when you use our website or client workspace.
If you join the waitlist, we collect the full name and work email you submit so we can plan early access, launch timing, and future product announcements.
If you pay for a project or plan, payment details are handled by our payment processor. We receive transaction, billing, and invoice information, but we do not need to store your full card number.
How we use information
We use information to scope and produce projects, communicate with clients, provide review and delivery workflows, manage accounts, process payments, manage the waitlist, answer questions, maintain security, and improve the reliability of our services.
We do not sell client footage or use it to build advertising profiles. We use project materials only as needed to deliver the engagement, support the client, protect our services, or as otherwise authorized by the client.
Client materials
You retain ownership of your footage, briefs, brand assets, and other material you provide. You give Disteller and the people helping us deliver your project a limited permission to access, copy, transform, store, and transmit that material for the engagement.
You are responsible for having the permissions, releases, licenses, and other rights needed for the material you send us. We will not use unreleased client work publicly as a portfolio example without your permission.
When we share information
We may share information with people and providers who help us run Disteller, such as editors or production partners working on your engagement, hosting and storage providers, and payment processors. They may use information only to provide services to us or as required by law.
We may also disclose information when necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, prevent fraud or abuse, protect people and the service, or support a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the services, complete a project, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect our systems. Waitlist contact information is kept until the launch cycle ends or you ask us to delete it. Project retention periods may also be set out in your proposal or project correspondence.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, scoped credentials, logging, and provider security features appropriate to the work. No online service or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or objection regarding your personal information. You can also ask us to update or delete your waitlist details, or stop future announcements.
We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may need to be retained to meet legal or contractual obligations.
Children and policy changes
Disteller is intended for adults and business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We may update this policy as our services change and will update the date above or provide additional notice where required.
